We had new gutters installed on our house and now during a light rain, you can constantly hear the drip-drip-drip as it echos when it drop hits the bottom of the gutter. It’s driving me crazy! When I remove the bottom piece that turns the water away from the house, it stops the noise, but then the water doesn’t move away from the house. Any suggestions?

I have gutters that are probably 15 or so years old. They are the nail in kind with the metal sleeve. They keep coming loose, and they often leak behind the gutter. Would I need to replace the board they nail into, or other options. I think I would be better off just taking the gutters down for the summer, so the board won’t rot.behind them and replace the gutters later. Thanks for any ideas or options.

I’m looking at a property that has box gutters. The gutters seem to be leaking in a few areas. What I’m looking for is some details on how expensive it would be to replace or just fix them? Also whats required to maintain them? How long will they last if I replace them, and would it be worth my time just to put up hanging gutters?

I live in an area with poor drainage. Can you install gutters on a tin roof house to help with rain runoff. It is starting to erode around my house.

The down spouts have multiple bends. The house was built in 1950s, and the gutters have been painted a few times(can’t take them apart). I was thinking a maybe a plumbing snake or something. Any ideas?

just bought a house with screens over the gutters that do not look so great and are falling off in places. can’t decide whether to pull them off and leave the gutters exposed or pay to have gutter helmets professionally installed. (have several trees throughout the yard - oak, ash, etc.)
