    leaf guard, cheaper and the fact is you will still have to go up there every few years to clean crap out. the dirt and shingle debri gets past all the other guards and builds up in the gutters anyway. So work on keeping the leafs out for as long as possible then go up there once in a while with a pressure hose and clean the gutters.
